Application Process
Thank you for your interest in the Charter School Growth Fund (CSGF). CSGF is proud to invest in charter school management organizations that deliver outstanding academic results with underserved youth, and possess the dedication to expand a network of schools in their target communities. To determine if your organization qualifies for investment consideration, refer to the application eligibility requirements.
Applications are accepted online throughout the year and evaluated on a rolling basis. All applications are considered in an objective and anonymous process. The application process requires four elements, which are detailed below:
- Creation of Applicant Profile: CSGF requires all applicants to establish a log-in and password for the Applicant Portal as well as upload basic entity data. At the time you create your log-in, you will be asked to include basic school and management information.
- Academic Data Submission: Once an Applicant Profile is created, organizations must upload National Norm Referenced Test Data and State Test Data for evaluation, using the templates provided by CSGF. For more information on the data submission requirements, please see the Application Data Requirements page.
- Enrollment and Demographic Data Submission: In addition to the submission of academic data, applicants will be asked to submit data related to demographics, enrollment and staffing. Applicants can submit these data through the manual interface in the Applicant Portal or through an Excel-generated template downloadable through the Portal. Organizations with less than five years of operation must submit data since their inception, and organizations with five or more years of operation must submit data for at least five years.
- Operational Data Submission: Upon the receipt of your academic and enrollment data, applicants will be asked to submit addtional operational data regarding school leadership and finances.
